Joshua Lutz caught the volunteering bug in church at 9 years old, helping out in the nursery, then playing drums, bass and guitar in the church bands as a kid. His father, who played trumpet for the Supreme’s and Dionne Warwick, is VP of Fundraising for the not for profit Opportunity International and has spent over 20 years helping the 3rd world procure small business loans in environments they otherwise could not to start their own businesses or hire their community members. In 2010 Mark Lutz wrote a book called UnPoverty in which Joshua wrote a soundtrack, one song for every chapter. Josh has taught music, art, design and audio engineering for over 25 years in dozens of other facilities and schools all over the USA including many private schools, Hospitals, Retirement Communities, Park Districts, YMCA’s, Community Houses, etc. Today, Josh volunteers with SOVAD and recruiting other artists to perform through our not for profit “RandomActs Of Songs” Outreach Progam.
